Moving Day
Well, we would have helped Dan move if it wasn't for the terrible timing, we ourselves too also had to move that weekend, and Stephen still had to pack ALL of his stuff to take back to Gis. He started this while Jason and myself took the first couple of loads over on sat afternoon. The truck made it up the drive though we did have several heart stopping moments, the drive is very steep and quite unstable with pot holes and gravel.
By the end of sunday I had remembered that I very much hated moving and vowed never to to it again (again). Moving the piano ( and navigating the couches through the lounge door) did not help my feelings on the matter but thank you to those of you who helped us with it.
The new house is pretty cool, it has a front loading w/m in the kitchen, no laundry, central heating, gas hot water with a mins pressure shower in which you can set the water temp, I prefer a 39 degree shower, power points in every corner of every room, (as well as in the pantry) and a neighbour called Errol who has eight boats and is in the business of hair restoration, he uses words like grouse and is a member of the masonic lodge.
