Northern England:
After 650 miles in one weekend the car sounds a bit different, it has a distinct rattle to it now! Saw York and Durham on the way up the country which were great little English towns as you expect them to be. Stayed the night in NewCastle and met some interesting people! Then on Sunday we went across the top of the country, not quite as far as Scotland but stopped at Hadrians wall before coming back home via the Lakes District.
