La Dernier Journée

Well it's been long enough now that I just have to get this up so there is no long post to go with the pictures of the last day of the road trip, though I hope that they can occupy a couple of minutes of you (for those of you who should be working) day. The last night we went out in Avignon and followed up by exploring the palace (as was a cat?!) in the morning after which we drove up the highest mountain in Provence at nearly 2000m. The drive up was great, the scenery beautiful, the view from the top incredible and with Bjorn driving, the drive down was somewhat death defying and Felix and myself drove the rest of the way home. Which by the way was a 3.5 hour drive to cover the same distance it took us two days to drive on the way there! Such are the motorways which allow one to drive at 130km/h.
