Happy Birthday to me!!!! Thank you to everyone who sent messages throughout the early hours of the morning and into the day, they were very much appreciated and made me feel a bit closer to home the harsh reality of 18000km. I celebrated by teaching a full day, following which us foreigners were expected to attend a professional development session on Health and Safety around the school. However, as stabbing ourselves in the eyes with compasses sounded like more fun, we opted to hold our own professional development session and headed down to the great local institution known merely as 'The George'. (but didn't do the compass thing)

I did visit Ireland in the mid term break, I'll add more photos over the next few days.
